Some Stats:
- Every two minutes, somewhere in America, someone is sexually assaulted.
- The World Health Org’s Study investigated two important aspects of women’s attitudes to partner violence:
- the circumstances under which women
believe that a man is justified in beating
his wife (wife-beating is probably the most
common expression for physical violence by
a male partner - women’s beliefs about whether and when
a woman may refuse to have sex with
her husband 
- Fact #6: The National College Women Sexual Victimization Study estimated that between 1 in 4 and 1 in 5 college women experience completed or attempted rape during their college years
- MEN can stop
- Globally, at least one in three women and girls is beaten or sexually abused in her lifetime. (UN Commission on the Status of Women, 2/28/00)
